Good News, Bad News
The bad news is, Dr. David North is leaving Family Medical Center (FMC). The good news is, he's staying in the Oskaloosa area and going into private practice while offering a unique service to the medical community and area citizens.
"After eight busy and successful years at Family Medical Center," said Dr. North, "I'm leaving the group and starting my own business, 'Southeast Iowa Geriatric Care.' My business will deal exclusively with nursing homes and assisted living care."
Dr. North is looking forward to the new challenge of offering this unique service to Oskaloosa's medical community.
Most of Dr. North's patients have already been told the news he is leaving FMC. "I am confident my patients will be well cared for by my partners at Family Medical Center," he added.
His last day at Family Medical Center is January 31.
